With recent updates to the materials handling for waste collection there have been several important updates as to how different materials are accepted.

Blue Bag – Paper / Fibre
- now includes multi-layer paper packaging
Blue Bag – Containers
- now includes paper cups, paper-based tubs, cardboard spiral tubes (such as juice or dough)
Enviro-Depot
- sort into seperate blue bags
- can be dropped off at your nearest Enviro-Depot
- now includes flexible plastics, foam packaging, and aerosol containers
- residents are also encouraged to drop glass containers off at Enviro-Depot locations
