Divert NS is offering up to $40,500 in scholarships to Nova Scotia Grade 12 students who are making a difference for the environment. Eighteen (18) scholarships are available for 2026, valued at $1,000 and $3,500. Dedicated scholarships are also available for students who apply in French, as well as for Indigenous and Black Nova Scotian students.
To apply, students need to:
- Write a summary of their recent environmental activities.
- Obtain a letter of reference from someone in their school or community.
- Write an essay about litter clean-up and prevention efforts.
- Fill out the application form.
